When I first joined the workforce, I was blessed to have a work-from-home job. As my career changed, I found myself at a job where I worked anywhere from 6 to 14 hours away from home. I would come home exhausted from work and see my beautiful angel dog, Maisy, waiting for me. It crushed me to know that she spent so much of her day alone when she was such a social butterfly. And that's how Maisy's Corner came to be. Now I get to spend most of my days at home with Maisy and help other dogs feel less lonely with their owners are away at work. ​

This business was inspired by Maisy and that's why I named it after her, but shortly after dreaming up this idea we added Jean Claude to the family. And while Maisy is just happy to have me home all the time, Jean Claude is ecstatic to have other dogs to play with. That was how we decided to offer curated playdates. One with our low-energy dog and one with our high-energy dog. And our curated playdates offer far less overstimulation then what you'll find in a typical daycare setting.
